Development of Embedded Systems - from a Practical Point of View

Abstract
The paper describes the development of embedded systems using a W process model as a model-based top-down design from function to structure, partitioning and implementation or realization. Early testing via simulation is an integral component. The development is integrated in the process management. All explained steps build on an example from precision weighing technology.
