Abstract
The debacle in the South China Sea involving China and several countries presents a threat to international business and trade. The resolution of the issue involves looking at various dimensions which vary according to which stakeholder’s perspective it is viewed from. Elements of history, international trade, globalization, diplomacy, are some issues that impinge one upon another.
