Abstract

Human beings experience a non avoidable situation of sharing and posting their pictures, documents, videos etc on the internet almost every week. Intruders are often the ones who do not want to work hard and they claim on somebody’s original work. Digital Watermarking has been an extraordinary rescue to the humiliating plight. There are broadly two most popular ways of embedding the watermark in the digital content ie spatial domain and transform domain. We present here the survey on both the kinds of methodologies in practice worldwide for authenticating images , in recent years.
