Abstract

Interleavers play a key role in interleave division multiple access (IDMA). In IDMA the separation of the information of different users is achieved by interleaving. Criteria for a good interleaver design for IDMA include low memory requirement, easy generation, low complexity, low correlation among interleavers, low overhead for synchronization between user and base station. In this paper we are giving a review of different interleavers.
