Abstract

Mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is an autonomous system of mobile nodes connected by wireless links. It is a self organizing and self configuring network without the need of any centralized base station. In MANETs, the nodes are mobile and battery operated. Each node operates not only as an end system, but also as a router to forward packets [2]. The main aim of MANET is to build best routing algorithms that are adapted to randomly changing network topology [1]. In Few years, number of protocols has been developed and some comparisons are done on number of routing protocols like Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing (AODV), Dynamic Source Routing (DSR).
