Abstract

Information Security Systems are a set of systems, policies and procedures put in place to protect information and ensure access to information is only available to sanctioned users of the system. Whilst hardware and software components are always essential in the safe-guarding access to digital information, in evaluating the security of an information system is it essential to consider the behaviour of human users who form an integral component of the system. The Information Security Culture of an organisation reflects the set of behaviours of human operators where these behaviours may impact on the security of organisations information.
