We manufactured compact personal verification device using finger veins. We already have developed a personal verification device. Doing verification experiments on a new device using the conventional verification method, the result of verification rate was 99.5[%]. Therefore, we find problems of conventional verification method and propos new method. Specifically, we propose a method emphasizes edge of finger on the purpose of improving the accuracy of lean correction and method of emphasizing the vein with higher accuracy. Verification rate on the verification experiments increased to 99.9% by incorporating two methods.
