Abstract

the reverse engineering process used to recover the requirements, and the experience gained during the study are reported. The object oriented software development is used because objects are more natural and classes of objects can be reused. The phase in OOSD is requirements analysis, design, implementation and testing. Software Requirements Specification (SRS) is a detailed description for functional and non-functional requirements of the system to be developed. GenSRS is a tool that is able to generate Software Requirements Specification (SRS) automatically according to system’s requirements. In this paper, the focus is only two specific diagrams, use case diagram and sequence diagram. These diagrams are used for editing and drawing diagrams and also to check the correctness as well as consistency between diagrams. The systems’ requirements are transformed using use case diagram and sequence diagram to generate SRS and save on TXT file.
